The apartment is in Dramjl city that is located a few minutes drive from Crikvenica – a popular resort in Croatian Riviera. The whole region is one of the sunniest places on the coast. Here the sun is shining for around 2500 hours a year.

Sun and clear water

Cristal clear, turquoise water completely compensates for the specific characteristics of the croatian coast. Beaches in Dramajl and and area are mostly rocky. Short search will lead you to finding the most comfortable spot for all-day sunbathing. If you prefer easy access to water, you will find a lovely beach in Dramajl and a number of them in the center of Crikvenica.

Transport

Dramajl is located 30 km from Rijeka to where a new, comfortable road leads. To get from Dramajl to Rijeka takes 45 minutes drive. On the way you pass the way onto KRK island – a beautiful, impressive bridge. Going to the other side, in 5 minutes you can get to the centre of Crikvenica. To get there, you can also use a touristic train – a big attraction to kids, or… Lidl shopping enthusiasts – the train stops right in front of the ship. A walk from Dramajl to Crikevnica takes 30 minutes.

Crikvenica - a resort town

The whole region is known for an exceptional microclimate. First spa centres appeared there in the XIX century when Crikvenica was the favourite spot for the whole Austro-Hungary. The reputation of this place has been maintained until today.  The Crikvenica region is one of the healthiest touristic spots in the whole of Croatia.

Krk Island

In 30 minutes drive (or a rented boat ride) you can get to the KRK island. It is the biggest Croatian island filled with numerous attractions. Charming and picturesque towns and villages located on the cliffs of the coast look like the most beautiful Cote d’Azur places. Wine lovers will get a chance to visit well-known vineyards, and a town Čižići is known for healing mud baths – highly recommended.

Local cuisine

There are few restaurants, bars and pizzerias in Dramajl. If you want a sophisticated cuisine, you can find many highly-rated restaurants in Crikvenica. Menus offer regional dishes. The most popular ones are fishes cooked with garlic, celery and carrots; shrimps in wine sauce; or Frankopan cake.

Party and fun

Dramajl is a quiet place. Disco and party lovers will feel content in the Crikvenica centre. Numerous clubs and bars, often located right by the seaside, are open until late hours.

FKK - for the brave ones!

Kacjak and FKK beaches. Here you can enjoy the nudist sunbathing. If you are a naturist, this is the place you should visit.
